أَلاَ يَا الله بِنَظْرَة مِنَ الْعَيْنِ الرَّحِيْمـَة |

O Allah, send down your mercy by Your Gaze |

وسَلِّمْ لِلْمَقَادِيْـر كَيْ تُحْمَدْ وتُؤْجـَرْ |
wasallim lil-maqādīr kay tuḥmad watuʼjar |
And submit to God’ decrees so that you become praiseworthy and rewarded |

وَكُـنْ رَاضِي بِمَا قَدَّرَ المَوْلَى ودَبَّـر |

And be content with that the Master has decreed |

وَلاَ تَسْخَطْ قَضَا اللهِ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ اْلأَكْبَر |

And do not have any displeasure with the decree of Allah, Lord of the Lofty Throne |

رِجَالِ اللهِ مِنْ كُلِّ ذِيْ قَلْبٍ مُنـَوَّرٍ |
rijāl allah min kulli dhī qalbin munawwar |
The people of Allah have an illuminated heart |

مُصَفًّى مِنْ جَمِيْعِ الدَّنَسِ طَيِّبٍ مُطَهَّرٍ |
muṣaffan min jamīʻi al-danas ṭayyibin muṭahhar |
that is purified from all dirt, pure, and a purification for others |

وَذِهْ دُنْيـَا دَنِيـَّة حَوَادِثُهَا كَثِـيْرَة |
wadhih dunyā daniyyah ḥawādithuhā kathīrah |
And this lowly world, it’s problems are many in every moment, |

وَعِيْشَـتُهَا حَقِيْرَة وَمُدَّتُهَا قَصـِيْرَة |

وَلاَ يَحْرِصْ عَلَيْهَا سِوَى أَعْمَى الْبَصِيْرَة |
walā yaḥriṣ ʻalayhā siwā aʻmā al-baṣīrah |
And one does not seek this dunya unless their sight is completely blinded. |

عَدِيْمُ الْعَقْلِ لَوْ كَانَ يَعْقِلْ كَانَ أَفْكـَر |

تَفَكِّرْ فِي فَنَاهـَا |

وَفِي كَثْرَةِ عَنَاهَا |
wafī kathrat ʻanāhā |
And on the great difficulties that occur. |

وَفِي قِلَّةِ غِنَاهـَا |
wafī qillat ghnāhā |
And on the low worth of its value. |

فَطُوْبَى ثُمَّ طُوْبَى لِمَنْ مِنْـهَا تَحَـذَّرْ |
faṭūbā thumma ṭūbā liman minhā taḥaḍḍar |
So blessed, truly blessed, is to the who is careful of it, |

وَطَلَّقَهَا وَفِي طَاعَةِ الرَّحْمنِ شَمَرْ |

أَلاَ يَا عَيْن جُوْدِيْ بِدَمْعٍ مِنْكِِ سَائِـلْ |

عَلَى ذَاكَ الْحَبِيْبِ الَّذِيْ قَدْ كَانَ نَازِلْ |

مَعَنَا فِي الْمَرَابِعْ وَأَصْبَحَ سَفَر رَاحِلْ |
maʻanā fī al-marābiʻ wa-aṣbaḥa safar rāḥil |

وَكـُلُّ الأَمْرِ للـهِ |
wakullu al-amri lillah |
And the entire affair belongs to Allah, |

وَلاَ يَبْقَى سِوَى الله |
walā yabqā siwā allah |
And no one remains except Allah. |

عَلَى بَشَّارِ جَادَتْ سَحَائِبْ رَحْمَةِ الْبَرّ |
ʻalā bashshāri jādat saḥāʼib raḥmati al-barr |
Upon Bashar have come the clouds of Allah’s mercy, |

وَحَيَّاهُمْ بِرَوْحِ الرِّضـَا رَبِّي وَبَشَّـرْ |
waḥayyāhum bi-rūḥi al-riḍā rabbi wabashshar |

بِهَـا سَادَاتُـنَا وَالشُّيُوْخُ الْعَارِفُوْنَـا |
bihā sādātunā wal-shuyūkhu al-ʻārifūnā |
Within it are our Masters, teachers, |

وَأَهـْلُوْنَا وَأَحْبـَابِ قَلْبِيْ نَازِلُوْنَـا |
wa-ahlūnā wa-aḥbābi qalbī nāzilūnā |
our family and our loved ones; those who are beloved to my heart are there. |

وَمَنْ هُمْ فِي سَرَائِرِ فُؤَادِيْ قَاِطِنُوْنَـا |
waman hum fī sarāʼiri fuʼādī qātinūnā |
And those who have taken residence in the deepest depths of my heart. |

بِسَاحَةِ تُرْبِهَا مِنْ ذَكِيِّ الْمِسْكِ أَعْطَر |
bisāḥati turbihā min dhakīyi al-miski aʻṭar |
And in this plain of the graveyard, its dust is more beautiful than musk. |

مَنَازِلُ خَيْرِ سَادَة |
manāzilu khayri sādah |
Because it is the resting place of the best of the Sayyids, |

لِكُلِّ النَّاسِ قَادَة |
likulli al-nāsi qādah |
Exemplars for all people, |

مَحَبَّتَهُمْ سَعَادَة |
maḥabbatuhum saʻādah |
Loving them is felicity, |
maḥabbatuhum saʻādah

أَلاَ يَا بَخْت مَنْ زَارَهُمْ بِالصِّدْقِ وانْدَر |
alā yā bakht man zārahum bil-ṣidqi wandar |
Fortunate is the one who visits them with sincerity. |

إِلَيْـهِمْ مُعْتَنـِي كُلُّ مَطْلُوْبِهِ تَيَسـَّرْ |

By the blessing of visiting them, what they seek from Allah will come. |
