| أَيَا مُرِيدَ اللهِ نُعِيدُ لَكَ قَوْلِي اصْغِهِ |

| O seeker of God, let me repeat these words to you, so listen closely, |

| عَلَيْكَ يَا مُرِيدُ بِخَمْرَةِ التَّوْحِيدِ |
| ʿalayka yā murīdu bi-khamrati t-tawḥīd |
| O seeker, embrace the wine of Oneness, |

| وَإِنْ تَبْغِ الْمَزِيدَ فَالغَيْرُ عَنكَ انْسَهُ |

| And if you seek even more, then let go of all that is other than Him. |

| فَاذْكُرِ الاسْمَ الْأَعْظَمَ وَاطْوِ الكَوْنَ تَغْنَمْ |
| fa-udhkur il-ism al-aʿẓam wa-iṭwi l-kawn taghnam |
| Invoke the Greatest Name of Allah, leave the universe behind, and you will find success, |

| وَلْتَفْنَ فِي الْمَعْبُودِ تَذُقْ مَعْنَى الشُّهُودِ |
| wa-l-tafna fī l-maʿbūd tadhuq maʿnā sh-shuhūd |
| Let yourself dissolve in the Worshiped One, and you will taste the sweetness of true witnessing, |
