أَيَا مُرِيدَ اللهِ نُعِيدُ لَكَ قَوْلِي اصْغِهِ
ayā murīda llāhi nuʿīdu laka qawlī iṣghihi
O seeker of God, let me repeat these words to you, so listen closely,

عَلَيْكَ يَا مُرِيدُ بِخَمْرَةِ التَّوْحِيدِ
ʿalayka yā murīdu bi-khamrati t-tawḥīd
O seeker, embrace the wine of Oneness,

وَإِنْ تَبْغِ الْمَزِيدَ فَالغَيْرُ عَنكَ انْسَهُ
wa-in tabgh al-mazīd fa-l-ghayru ʿanka ansahu
And if you seek even more, then let go of all that is other than Him.

فَاذْكُرِ الاسْمَ الْأَعْظَمَ وَاطْوِ الكَوْنَ تَغْنَمْ
fa-udhkur il-ism al-aʿẓam wa-iṭwi l-kawn taghnam
Invoke the Greatest Name of Allah, leave the universe behind, and you will find success,

Enter the ocean of eternity, for that is the sea of God.

وَخُضْ بَحْرَ الْأَنْوَارِ الْمَعْنَى وَالْأَسْرَارِ
wa-khuḍ baḥra l-anwār al-maʿnā wa-l-asrār
Plunge into the sea of lights, of meaning and mysteries,
wa-khuḍ baḥra l-anwār al-maʿnā wa-l-asrār

وَافْنِ هَذِهِ الدِّيَارَ يَبْلُغْ قَلْبُكَ مُنَاهُ
wa-afni hādhihi d-diyār yabluq qalbuka munāh
Abandon this world, and your heart shall reach its desire.

وَلْتَفْنَ فِي الْمَعْبُودِ تَذُقْ مَعْنَى الشُّهُودِ
wa-l-tafna fī l-maʿbūd tadhuq maʿnā sh-shuhūd
Let yourself dissolve in the Worshiped One, and you will taste the sweetness of true witnessing,

المُلْكُ وَالْمَلَكُوتُ كَذَلِكَ الجَبَرُوتُ
al-mulk wa-l-malakūt kadhālika l-jabarūt

Transcend all attributes and allow your being to dissolve into the essence of the Divine Essence,

إِلَيْهِ الْمُنْتَهَى وَمِنْهُ الْمُبْتَدَى

To Him is the ultimate end, and from Him is the beginning,

لَهُ الْكَوْنُ مِرْآة وَمَظْهَرُ الصِّفَات
lahu l-kawn mirʾāt wa-maẓhar ṣ-ṣifāt
The cosmos is but a mirror, a manifestation of His attributes,
