طَالَمَا اَشْكُوْ غَرَامِي يَا نُوْ رَ الْوُجُوْد
Tholama ashku gharami yaa nurol wujud
How long will I yearn infatuated O light of the universe
وَاُنَادِي يَا تِهَامِي يَا مَعْدِنَ الْجُوْد
wa unadi ya tihaami yaa ma'dinal
And continue calling out O Tihāmī O treasure-trove of goodness!

مُنْيَتِي اَقْصَي مَرَامِي اَحْظَي بِالشُّهُوْد
Mun-yati aqshol maromi ahzho bissyuhud
My wish my utmost desire is that I attain the vision
وَاَرَي بَابَ السَّلاَمِ يَا زَاكِي الْجُدُوْد
wa aro baabas salami yaa azkal judud
And look upon the Portal of Peace O nurturer of good fortune

يَا طِرَازَ الْكَوْنِ إِنِّي عَاشِقْ مُسْتَهَام
Ya thirazal kauni inni aashiq muntaham
O jewel of the universe I am a lover engrossed in longing
مُغْرَمٌ وَالْمَدْحُ فَنِّي يَا بَدْرَ التَّمَام
Mughramun wal Madhu fannii Ya Badrat Tamaam
Infatuated; praise is my profession Oh full moon (of perfection)

إِصْرِفِ الْأَعْرَاضَ عَنِّي أَضْنَانِي الْغَرَامْ
-Isrifil -a'raada 'annee -adnaanil gharaam
Take everything away from me, For love has consumed and exhausted me
فِيكَ قَدْ حَسَّنْتُ ظَنِّي يَاسَامِي الْعُهُودْ
fiika qod ahsantu zhonni yaa saamil' uhud
Of you I have the best opinion, O bearer of the highest covenants!

يَا سِرَاجَ اْلأَنْبِيَاءِ يَا عَالِي الْجَنَاب
Yaa sirojal anbiyaa-i yaa'alil janaab
Oh, light of the prophets, Oh, summit of purity,
يَا إِمَامَ اْلأَتْقِيَاءِ إِنَّ قَلْبِي ذَاب
yaa imaamal atqiyaa-i inna qolbi dzaab
Leader of the pious (people of Taqwa), My heart is melting

يَكْفِي يَا نُورَ الأَهِلَّة إِنَّ هَجْرِي طَالْ
Yakfi yaa nurol ahillah inna hajri thool
It’s enough for me, Oh, light of Allah, To journey towards you, surely the separation is long…
سَيِّدِي وَالعُمْرُ وَلَّى جُدْ بِالوَصْلِ جُودْ
Sayyidi wal'umru walla jud bil washli jud
My master, I am old, be generous in connecting me to you

يَانَبِيًّا قَدْ تَحَلَّى حَقًّا بِالْجَمَالْ
Yaa nabeeyan qad taHalla Haqqan biljamaal
O Prophet, you truly adorned yourself with beauty
وَعَلَيْكَ اللهُ صَلَّى رَبِّي ذُو الْجَلَالْ
Wa'alaikallahu sholla rabbi dzuljalal
For you may there be the salutations of Allah, And upon you Allah did pray, my Lord, the Majestic
