يَا مَنْ دَنَى وَتَدَلَّى وَطَابَ ذَاتًا وَأَهْلًا
yā man danā wa-tadallā wa-ṭāba dhātan wa-ahlā
O the one who descended, rose high, and was perfect in himself and his family

رَقَيْتَ لِلْأَوْجِ الْأَعْلَى فِي رِحْلَةٍ لَا تُضَاهَى

You ascended to the highest peaks on a journey that can not be paralleled

الصَّدْرُ شُقَّ اكْتِمَالًا وَزِدْتَ عِلْمًا وَحَالًا
al-ṣadru shuqqa iktimālan wa-zidta ʿilman wa-ḥālan

لَكَ الْبُرَاقُ تَأَدَّبْ لَمَّا رَآكَ الْمُحَبَّبْ
laka al-burāq taʾadab lammā raʾāka al-muḥabbab
For you the Buraq humbled when it saw you the beloved

يَا مَنْ وُهِبْتَ الْمَثَانِي وَبَابَ فَتْحِ الْمَعَانِي
yā man wuhibta al-mathānī wa-bāba fatḥ al-maʿānī
O the one who was gifted the Al Mathani (Al-Fatihah) and the door of unlocking meanings

صَلَّيْتَ فِي الْأَنْبِيَاءِ فِي مَقْدِسِ الْأَصْفِيَاءِ
ṣallayta fī al-anbiyāʾ fī maqdasi al-aṣfiyāʾ
You prayed with the pure prophets in Bait Al Maqdis.

وَطِرْتَ نَحْوَ السَّمَاءِ وَالنَّفْسُ تَرْجُو مُنَاهَا

And you walked towards paradise and the soul desires it

لَقَّيْتَ أَهْلَ الرِّسَالَةُ أَهْلَ الْهُدَى وَالدَّلَالَةُ
laqayta ahla al-risāla ahla al-hudā wa-al-dalāla
You met the people of the message, the people of guidance

And you are the bright one in the universe, you rise high in your glory

أُعْطِيتَ خَمْسِينَ فَرْضًا وَخُفِّفَتْ لَكَ إِرْضًا
uʿṭīta khamsīn farḍan wa-khuffifat laka irḍan
You wre given fifty obligations and it was reduced to please you

وَالْخَتْمُ صَلَّى وَسَلَّمْ مَوْلَايَ مَا الطَّيْرُ حَوَّمْ
wa-al-khatmu ṣallā wa-sallam mawlāya mā al-ṭayr ḥawwam
Ending with salutations and peace, my Lord, as long as the birds flew

وَالصَّحْبِ وَالْآلِ سَادَةً فِي الْخَيْرِ لِلنَّاسِ قَادَةً
wa-al-ṣaḥbi wa-al-āl sādata fī al-khayr lil-nās qādatan
And upon the companions and his family, leaders in goodness for the people to follow
