يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
yā dhā al-jalāli wa-al-ikrāmi yā dhā al-jalāli wa-al-ikrāmi
O the One of Glory and Honor, the One of Glory and Honor
يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ مِتْنَا عَلَى دِينِ الْإِسْلَامِ
yā dhā al-jalāli wa-al-ikrāmi mitnā ʿalā dīn al-islām
O the One of Glory and Honor, take my life in the state of Islam

يَا مَنْ دَنَى وَتَدَلَّى وَطَابَ ذَاتًا وَأَهْلًا
yā man danā wa-tadallā wa-ṭāba dhātan wa-ahlā
O the one who descended, rose high, and was perfect in himself and his family
رَقَيْتَ لِلْأَوْجِ الْأَعْلَى فِي رِحْلَةٍ لَا تُضَاهَى
raqayta li-al-awji al-aʿlā fī riḥlatin lā tuḍāhā
You ascended to the highest peaks on a journey that can not be paralleled

الصَّدْرُ شُقَّ اكْتِمَالًا وَزِدْتَ عِلْمًا وَحَالًا
al-ṣadru shuqqa iktimālan wa-zidta ʿilman wa-ḥālan
Your chest was split with completion and increased your knowledge and state
وَصِرْتَ حَقًّا مِثَالًا يَاسِينُ أَنْتَ وَطَهَ
wa-ṣirta ḥaqqan mithālan yāsīn anta wa-ṭāhā
You became truly an example, O Yasin, you are Taha

لَكَ الْبُرَاقُ تَأَدَّبْ لَمَّا رَآكَ الْمُحَبَّبْ
laka al-burāq taʾadab lammā raʾāka al-muḥabbab
For you the Buraq humbled when it saw you the beloved
طَأْطَأْ إِلَيْكَ تَقَرَّبْ بِنُورِكَ اللَّهُ بَاهَى
ṭaʾṭaʾ ilayka taqarrab bi-nūrika allāhu bāhā
It lean towards you, approaching with your shining light

يَا مَنْ وُهِبْتَ الْمَثَانِي وَبَابَ فَتْحِ الْمَعَانِي
yā man wuhibta al-mathānī wa-bāba fatḥ al-maʿānī
O the one who was gifted the Al Mathani (Al-Fatihah) and the door of unlocking meanings
رَقَّيْتَ فَوْقَ الْعَنَانِ طَرَّقْتَ بَابَ سَمَاهَا
raqayta fawqa al-ʿanān ṭarraqta bāba samāhā
You ascended above the clouds and knocked on the door of its sky

صَلَّيْتَ فِي الْأَنْبِيَاءِ فِي مَقْدِسِ الْأَصْفِيَاءِ
ṣallayta fī al-anbiyāʾ fī maqdasi al-aṣfiyāʾ
You prayed with the pure prophets in Bait Al Maqdis.
وَطِرْتَ نَحْوَ السَّمَاءِ وَالنَّفْسُ تَرْجُو مُنَاهَا
wa-ṭirta naḥwa al-samāʾ wa-al-nafsu tarjū munāhā
And you walked towards paradise and the soul desires it

لَقَّيْتَ أَهْلَ الرِّسَالَةُ أَهْلَ الْهُدَى وَالدَّلَالَةُ
laqayta ahla al-risāla ahla al-hudā wa-al-dalāla
You met the people of the message, the people of guidance
وَأَنْتَ فِي الْكَوْنِ هَالَةٍ تَعْلُو نَدًى فِي عُلَاهَا
wa-anta fī al-kawn hāla taʿlū nadā fī ʿulāhā
And you are the bright one in the universe, you rise high in your glory

أُعْطِيتَ خَمْسِينَ فَرْضًا وَخُفِّفَتْ لَكَ إِرْضًا
uʿṭīta khamsīn farḍan wa-khuffifat laka irḍan
You wre given fifty obligations and it was reduced to please you
خَمْسًا وُجُوبًا وَإِمْضًا وَيُسْتَجَابُ دُعَاهَا
khamsan wujūban wa-imḍan wa-yustajābu duʿāhā
Five obligations and excellence, and the prayers are answered

وَالْخَتْمُ صَلَّى وَسَلَّمْ مَوْلَايَ مَا الطَّيْرُ حَوَّمْ
wa-al-khatmu ṣallā wa-sallam mawlāya mā al-ṭayr ḥawwam
Ending with salutations and peace, my Lord, as long as the birds flew
عَلَى النَّبِيِّ الْمُكَرَّمْ مَا عَاشِقٌ فِيهِ تَاهَا
ʿalā al-nabī al-mukarram mā ʿāshiqa fīhi tāhā
Upon the noble prophet, as long as the lover’s everlasting love

وَالصَّحْبِ وَالْآلِ سَادَةً فِي الْخَيْرِ لِلنَّاسِ قَادَةً
wa-al-ṣaḥbi wa-al-āl sādata fī al-khayr lil-nās qādatan
And upon the companions and his family, leaders in goodness for the people to follow
وَأَهْلِ سِرِّ الْعِبَادَةُ حَيَاتُهُمْ مَا كَمَاهَا
wa-ahl sirr al-ʿibāda ḥayātuhum mā kamāhā
And upon the people of essence worship as long as they are in that state
